New York based clothing line Twon recently released their Fall 2009 line to the public. Staying true to the birthplace of hip hop Twon has released a series of shirts that encompass the five boroughs of NYC with a rapper that represented each of them. The lineup includes Nas for Queens, Biggie for Brooklyn, ODB for Staten Island, Big Pun for the Bronx and Big L for Manhattan.
With the economic crisis the way it is, some people still waited in line for Kanye West’s exclusive Nike shoes. Okay, okay. So, they may have been celebrities and they weren’t waiting in anyone’s line. The average wallet, however, probably didn’t rush out to purchase a pair of the $215 Air Yeezys, even though I know you wanted too.
You budget shoppers are in luck though. Unlike Kanye, Fat Joe and Young Jeezy are both releasing new sneaks just in time for the back to school season. Fat Joe is releasing an economically-priced shoe called The Recession exclusively for Kmart. Joey Crack’s kicks will be sold for $34.99.
Not feeling the kicks in the pics? Don’t wanna be caught dead in Kmart? Well, then go buy Jeezy’s new Snowman Adidas at BX Sports store in the Bronx.
